(ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico) New Mexico United remain undefeated at home. Wednesday’s match against OKC Energy FC, in front of 13,000+ fans, ended in a 1:1 draw
Hometown hero Devon Sandoval tucked away the evening’s first goal in the 43rd minute. Fellow University of New Mexico soccer alum, Chris Wehan sent in a dangerous ball to the back post. It found defender Justin Schmidt’s head, and Schmidt knocked it along to Sandoval, who finished with poise.

Up next for United is a showdown with Sacramento Republic FC, slated for Saturday, June 8. Kickoff will be at 7:30 pm MT.
