Albuquerque, NM – Today New Mexico United announced that they have acquired attacking midfielder Charlie Dennis on loan from Phoenix Rising FC. Dennis will wear #14 for the Black and Yellow.
“I’m delighted to be joining this historic city. I can’t wait to meet everyone.” Dennis said, “I’ve felt this atmosphere many times and I’m looking forward to being on the right side of it.”
“Charlie is someone we have known and monitored for years.” Sporting Director Itamar Keinan stated, “I am excited we had the opportunity to welcome a player of his quality into our family to help us in our final push and into the playoffs.”
Dennis has been one of the USL’s best goal scorers having 36 goal contributions in USL Championship play across three Championship teams. The transaction was completed prior to the USL Championship Roster Freeze on Monday, September 7th.
