United looks to keep unbeaten run going
New Mexico United heads back to the East Coast looking to keep their great run of form going. The Black and Yellow travel out to the Mother of Presidents state to take on a pesky Loudoun United team. Here is what you need to know!
The Turquoise is Back – While New Mexico is nicknamed the Black and Yellow, on Saturday night they will be playing in their Turquoise Vintage Kit. Since 2021 United has worked to integrate the Land of Enchantments’ most symbolic rock into its kits.
The Burque Backline – United’s backline has been one of the most reliable in the league all season. This season the backline of Kipp Keller, Niko Hämäläinen, Chris Gloster and Ousman Jabang have 211 clearances combined and have only six goals across all competitions since May 20th.
Home Cooking – Home is where the heart is and for Abdellatif Aboukoura it has helped him this season. The native of Fairfax, Virginia has been a massive help to this Loudoun side this seasons scoring four goals, second on the team in shots and third on the team in chances created.
