United will look to start their road trip off with three points Wednesday
Let’s try this again! New Mexico is heading back to Shelby County, Alabama to take on Birmingham Legion FC in a match that was originally scheduled for late July. Here’s everything you need to know!
On the Road Again
The trip to Shelby County will start off a week long road trip where United will not touch back down into New Mexico till Sunday. After the adventure into Alabama the Black and Yellow will head back west to take on Rocky Mountain Rival Colorado Springs on Saturday night.
Pure Brilliant
Greg Hurst has been nothing short of wonderful for New Mexico during his tenure in the Land of Enchantment. With another goal Hurst continues to inch towards Chris Wehan’s record of most goals scored in club history. Hurst’s strike to put United up two in Friday’s contest was his 8th of the regular season for the Black and Yellow. If Hurst can bag two more he would be United’s first double digit goal scorer since the 2024 season when he scored 12.

Romario Williams has been a bright spot for Birmingham Legion FC this season. The Jamaican international and former New Mexico United man has scored four times across Legions last three matches.
