New Mexico looks to build off of rowdy home crowd
Home sweet home. After a week long road trip that saw United pick up two draws in two different time zones, the Black and Yellow is finally home in front of a rowdy crowd. Here’s everything you need to know!
Bloom and Decay
New Mexico will display their new ‘Bloom and Decay’ Meow Wolf night kits on Saturday night. United’s Friday night jersey launch event had over 800 RSVP’s for it and with multiple media outlets running stories about the jersey drop this may be one of United’s most popular kits designed. Fans that missed the event can pick their kits up at the New Mexico United Team Shop and online now, or at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park when gates open at 5:30pm!
Home Cookin’
Cristian Nava has been one of the best stories in the USL Championship this season. Nava has provided a spark of energy when he has entered every match he has played in this season and looks to get back on the scoring sheet for United. Greg Hurst as well has served a big part in United’s attack. Hurst’s next goal will put him into double digits and inch him closer to becoming the clubs all time leading goal scorer.
Hello Cal
Cal Jennings is back in the USL Championship after a stint in the country of Japan. The USL’s all-time leading multi goal game scorer was acquired by Sacramento Republic since the last time these two teams met. Jennings has tallied one goal since being acquired but has come close multiple times.
