New Mexico United and New Mexico 811 are thrilled to announce the tenth round of additions to the U-23 roster in the team’s history. Turner Humphrey and Tom Protzek join the inaugural roster to bring the number of announced players to twenty-nine ahead of the inaugural season.
“Turner and Tom bring a wealth of talent and experience to our team, and will make an immediate impact,” said United U-23 Head Coach Luke Sanford. “These two improve our strength in the middle of the pitch, and will be a handful for the opposition.”
Humphrey is a center back and native of Redlands, CA. He attends the University of California – Davis. Humphrey redshirted his freshman year with the Mustangs, before COVID-19 cancelled the 2020 season. He plans to transfer to Oregon State this season.
